The Netherlands will introduce a new, distance-based truck toll on July 1, 2026. At the same time, the current Eurovignette will expire on June 30, 2026.

As of this date, all vehicles subject to tolls are required to have an OBU (On-Board Unit).

In the future, tolls will be collected on nearly all Dutch highways as well as on select provincial and municipal roads.

The amount of the toll depends in particular on:

• the number of kilometers driven
• the technically permissible gross vehicle weight
• the Euro emission class
• the vehicle's CO₂/efficiency class
